Hydration facial (60 minutes)

Intended to rejuvenate and hydrate the skin, an oxygen facial uses oxygen under high amounts of pressure to apply various serums and hyaluronic acid to the skin. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the human body, and is thought to lessen the effects of aging by tightening and hydrating the skin

High purity oxygen has several benefits when used in facial and beauty treatments. Oxygen facial machines are designed to deliver pure oxygen directly to the skin, which can help to hydrate, nourish, and revitalize the skin. When the skin is exposed to pure oxygen, it can help to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential proteins that keep the skin firm and elastic.

In addition to providing pure oxygen, some facial machines also incorporate LED lights into the treatment. LED light therapy has been shown to have several benefits for the skin, including reducing inflammation, promoting collagen production, and improving the overall appearance of the skin.

Overall, a high-purity oxygen facial machine with LED lights can be a beneficial addition to a beauty routine, helping to improve the health and appearance of the skin. However, it's important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and to consult with a skincare professional before using any new products or treatments on your skin.

Diode Laser very sophisticated integrated skin cooling technology which ensures the surface of the skin is kept cool, comfortable and protected throughout allowing maximum energy down into the hair follicle for optimal results

The key principle behind laser hair removal is matching specific wavelengths of light and pulse duration to a specific target, namely the melanin in a hair follicle whilst avoiding the surrounding tissue area.

Melanin is the naturally occurring pigment in our skin and hair associated with colour.

  1. Redness & Bumps are normal.

  2. Immediately after your treatment, redness & bumps at the treatment area are common; these may last up to 2 hours or longer. It is normal for the treated area to feel like a sunburn for a few hours. You should use a cold compress if the sensitivity continues. If there is any crusting, apply an antibiotic cream. Darker pigmented skin may have more discomfort than lighter skin & may persist longer.

  3. Cleanse the area treated gently.
The treated area may be washed gently with a mild soap. Skin should be patted dry & not rubbed during the first 48 hours.

  4. No makeup & lotion/moisturizer/deodorant for the first 24 hours.
Keep the treated area clean & dry, if further redness or irritation persists, skip your makeup & moisturizer, & deodorant (for underarms) until the irritation has subsided.

  5. Dead hairs will begin to shed 5-30 days after your treatment.
Stubble, representing dead hair being shed from the hair follicle, will appear within 5-30 days from the treatment date. that is normal & they will fall out quickly.

  6. Exfoliate to speed up hair shedding.
Anywhere from 5-30 days after the treatment, shedding of the hair may occur & this may appear as new hair growth. It is not new hair growth, but the dead hair pushing its way out of the follicle. You can help the hair come out by washing with a washcloth or a Shobha® Exfoliating Cloth (sold at LH) & shaving.

  7. Avoid the sun.
Avoid sun exposure to reduce the chance of dark or light spots for 2 months. Use sunscreen (spf 25 or higher) at all times throughout the treatment period & for 1-2 months following.

  8. Do not pick/scratch/wax/thread/tweeze the area.
Avoid picking or scratching the treated skin. do not use any other hair removal methods or products, other than shaving, on the treated area during the course of your laser treatments, as it will prevent you from achieving the best results.

  9. Hair growth varies.
On average, most will experience a level of hairless happiness after 6-9 sessions which will result in not even checking for stubble (yes, it’s life changing!).

Hair Removal Cold Technology

Carbon Peel, also known as Hollywood Facial or Black Doll Facial, is a cosmetic treatment that uses a special carbon-based mask to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment involves applying a layer of liquid carbon to the skin, which is then heated and removed with a laser.

The process is said to improve skin texture, reduce pore size, and even out skin tone.

During the treatment, the carbon particles in the mask absorb dirt and oil from the pores. When the laser is applied to the mask, it heats up the carbon particles, causing them to vaporize and take away the impurities from the skin. The laser also stimulates collagen production, leading to a tighter and firmer appearance of the skin.

The Hollywood Facial is suitable for all skin types, and it is especially popular among people with oily skin, acne-prone skin, and hyperpigmentation. It is a non-invasive and relatively painless procedure that usually takes around 30 minutes to complete. The results are noticeable immediately after the treatment, and they can last for several weeks.

Microneedling uses a fine needle to create microwounds, or channels, in the skin. This triggers the production of elastin, and collagen. It’s also called skin needling or collagen induction therapy.

If the procedure also uses radiofrequency waves, it’s called radiofrequency microneedling. The needle releases radiofrequency into the channels, causing additional damage. This enhances the effects of standard microneedling.

The skin that grows back is thicker and smoother. This can target: Fine lines, wrinkles, stretch marks, appearance of large pores, acne scars, scars from injury or surgery, hyperpigmentation, loose, sagging skin, cellulite, hyperhidrosis.

After care

  • Immediately after the treatment, you will look and feel like you have a moderate sunburn. Expect your skin to have a pink or reddish hue (erythema). Your skin may also feel warm and tighter than normal.

  • There may be a little edema (swelling) and superficial bruising around the eyes. Crusting and peeling for three to seven days post-treatment is also common.

  • You may notice small needle marks on the treatment area, but don’t worry! They will disappear in about three days. If you’ve had a more aggressive treatment, they should be gone after approximately a week.

  • To ensure proper healing and minimize the risk of swelling or bruising, also avoid:

  • Wearing perfume

  • Smoking

  • Consuming alcohol

  • Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and other NSAIDS

  • You may start wearing makeup 72 hours after the treatment.

  • Also, avoid sun exposure to reduce the chance of developing hyperpigmentation. While there are no restrictions on bathing, it’s best to avoid scrubbing or inflicting any trauma to the treated areas.

  • Always remember to clean your hands before touching your face, make sure to use clean pillowcases, sheets, and blankets to avoid infections.

Microneedling radiofrequency

High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) is a relatively new cosmetic treatment for skin tightening that some consider a noninvasive and painless replacement for face lifts. It uses ultrasound energy to encourage the production of collagen, which results in firmer skin.

HIFU was then approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2009 for brow lifts. The device was also cleared by the FDA in 2014 to improve lines and wrinkles of the upper chest and neckline (décolletage).

HIFU has many aesthetic benefits, including:

  • wrinkle reduction

  • tightening sagging skin on the neck (sometimes called turkey neck)

  • lifting the cheeks, eyebrows, and eyelids

  • enhancing jawline definition

  • tightening of the décolletage

  • smoothing the skin

Study results are promising. A 2017 study Trusted Source involving 32 Korean people showed that HIFU significantly improved skin elasticity of the cheeks, lower abdomen, and thighs after 12 weeks.

In a larger study of 93 people, 66 percent of those treated with HIFU perceived an improvement in the appearance of their face and neck after 90 days and the result will last for 6-12 months based on particular customer skin conditions and skincare process.

Aftercare:

Avoid using tweezers, waxes and depilatory creams until at least 3 days after the treatment. Avoid hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and heavy exercise for a couple of days.

A chemical peel is a procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother. With a light or medium peel, you may need to undergo the procedure more than once to get the desired results.

Chemical peels are used to treat wrinkles, discolored skin and scars — usually on the face. They can be done alone or combined with other cosmetic procedures. And they can be done at different depths, from light to deep. Deeper chemical peels offer more-dramatic results but also take longer to recover from.

A chemical peel is a skin-resurfacing procedure. Depending on the issues you're addressing with the procedure, you'll choose a chemical peel in one of three depths:

  • Light chemical peel. A light (superficial) chemical peel removes the outer layer of skin (epidermis). It's used to treat fine wrinkles, acne, uneven skin tone and dryness. You might have a light peel every two to five weeks.

  • Medium chemical peel. A medium chemical peel removes skin cells from the epidermis and from portions of the upper part of your middle layer of skin (dermis). It's used to treat wrinkles, acne scars and uneven skin tone. You might need to repeat the procedure to achieve or maintain the desired result.

Aftercare:

– Do not go swimming for at least 24 hours post-treatment.

– No exercise that causes sweating, Jacuzzi, sauna, or steam baths until the skin is healed.

– Do not use makeup for 24 hours post- treatment.

– If Retinoic Acid is used as part of your treatment, your skin will have a light yellow tinge immediately after the procedure. This is temporary and will fade in 1 to 2 hours. It is recommended to wait until the evening to wash your face, however if you should choose to wash it sooner, please wait at least 2 hours.

– It is important that you avoid direct sunlight for at least 1 week, and make using a sunscreen with at least SPF40 a long term part of your daily routine.

– Patients with sensitivity to the sun should take extra precautions to guard against sun exposure following the procedure as they may be more sensitive following the peel.

– Your skin may be more red than usual for 2-3 days.

-Approximately 24-48 hours after the treatment, your skin will start to peel. This peeling will generally last 2 to 7 days. DO NOT PICK OR PULL THE SKIN.

-Apply a light moisturizer with sunscreen as often as needed to relieve dryness and tightness.

-Do not have any other facial treatments for at least two weeks after your peel.

Chemical Peel

During laser/light therapy, a laser is applied to the spider veins. The laser transmits photons that are absorbed by the blood cells in the veins, which generates heat that destroys the blood vessel. The damaged vein shrinks and eventually dissolves over time.

Laser/light therapy is considered the treatment of choice for facial spider veins. It can be used on other parts of the body as well. Only rarely is laser/light therapy used on leg veins.

After care

  • Treated area may be pink or red for four to eight hours after treatment.

  • A slight stinging sensation, similar to a mild sunburn in the treated area. This sensation usually subsides within four to six hours. Cool packs or moist cloths may be applied to reduce the sensation.

  • Mild swelling in the treatment area that usually dissipates within several days.

  • In addition, patients should:

  • Avoid applying makeup or lotion to the treated area for either 24 hours or until all signs of redness and stinging have dissipated.

  • Apply a good moisturizing lotion to the treated area twice daily for the duration of the treatments and for at least three months after final treatment.

Spider Vein Removal

The procedure can be performed in as little as 15 minutes or less, depending on the size of the treatment area.

What does the treatment feel like?

Your treatment provider may offer ways to make this a comfortable experience. Since everyone is different, and this depends on the level of treatment needed, it is best to discuss all of your options with your laser treatment provider.

How many treatments will I need?

A series of 3-4 treatments is recommended. Treatment intervals are 2-4 weeks but can be up to 8 weeks for darker skin types. Each patient is unique and will be evaluated prior to treatment.

How quickly will I recover?

Side effects include temporary redness and swelling at the treatment site that typically resolves in less than an hour but in some cases may linger for up to 24 hours.

Afer care

  • Do not pluck or wax any hair on the area that was treated. This can disrupt the treatment process and stimulate the hair follicle, leading to potential regrowth.

  • Exfoliate the area when any redness has subsided. This will be approximately one to two weeks after your appointment.

  • Avoid extremely hot baths, showers or steam rooms for at least 48 hours, post-treatment.

  • Apply a vitamin E cream or oil if any pigmentation or discolouration occurs. This will help to soothe the skin.

  • Avoid direct sunlight for at least two to four weeks following your treatment.

  • Mineral make-up may be used on any facial areas treated with laser hair removal. To avoid any irritation, other cosmetics should be avoided until the skin has had time to heal.

  • Avoid the use of deodorants for at least three days after your treatment, to avoid irritation of the skin.

  • Itching is a rare side effect of laser hair removal. However, if this occurs, it’s important not to scratch the affected area as this can break the skin, causing a scab which could lead to scarring.

  • Avoiding excessive exercise for up to 48 hours following treatment will minimise any irritation.

Tattoo Removal

Tattoo Removal Pico Laser

Picosure tattoo removal works by delivering ultra-short pulses of specialized energy to the targeted ink particles. These ultra-short pulses are known as PressureWave technology. They cause pressure changes that break the ink into tiny particles, which are then absorbed into your lymphatic system and expelled naturally by your own body’s immune system.

The 755 nm picosecond laser was the most effective in removing blue colored tattoos, and the 532-nm wavelength laser was the most effective in removing orange and yellow colored tattoos at week 3. Picosecond lasers resulted in less epidermal damage post-treatment and rapid healing than the 532 nm nanosecond laser.

What to expect?

Your skin will likely be pale or pink as the scabs separate from the skin. Complete healing usually takes about three to eight weeks. Here are some suggestions that you should follow after a tattoo removal session.

If your tattoo develops small blisters, do not pop, scratch, or peel them—they will be reabsorbed on their own in 7-10 days. Gently apply a thick layer of Vaseline® or Aquaphor® and lightly cover with a clean, breathable gauze pad three to four times a day until fully resolved.

Aftercare: It is recommended that patients take extra care of their skin following a pigment removal treatment.

Pat the area dry. Do not rub or scratch the treated area. moisturizer (face) to the area 2-3 times a day. Keep the area moist, and let the crusting/scabbing resolve on its own.

  • Wash the treated area twice a day with water and a gentle cleanser. ...

  • Protect the treated skin from the sun. ...

  • Avoid picking at any flaking, peeling, blisters or scabs that form. ...

  • Know what's normal.

  • Avoiding sun exposure for 1-2 weeks after the procedure is essential. Sun protection in the form of a good sunblock daily is also recommended. 2. For the first few days, it is advisable not to use any abrasive skin products at the affected area, or subject the skin to high heat (e.g. saunas and hot showers).

  • No swimming, which exposes the skin to a higher risk of infections.

  • In some cases, the skin will blister and peel off – this is normal, and means that your skin is healing and regenerating new skin. During this time, you will want to take care not to pick at the blisters as this could introduce bacteria and cause infections. Instead, let the skin peel off by itself, and look forward to your new layer of brighter, pigment-free skin!

  •  Use some recovery or antibiotic ointment to help heal the skin, and the ointment can protect the treated area from being infected or inflamed. Also having a little ooze of blood is normal after a tattoo removal treatment.

  •  During the tattoo removal treatment, if the energy density is high, subcutaneous bleeding is liable to occur. However, the recovery process is no difference.

  • After the treatment, the treated area will be a little swollen at first, then three days later, it will start to scab, and then take 5 to 7 days for the scabs to fall off.

  • If the treated area is oozing with blood, the patient, in comparison with the one that is not, will need a longer time to recover, usually around 10 to 13 days.

  • Patients who ooze with blood can apply more recovery ointment than usual. You may also apply Vaseline, Aquaphor, or hydrocortisone cream to moisturize the area as it heals. Vitamin E ointment is helpful too, as it helps to restore damaged skin cells.
